EGAG WRAP 2020 small artwork prize

Now in its fourth year, EGAG WRAP is an open entry small artwork exhibition with $2000 non-acquisitive first prize, proudly sponsored by Simon Anderson Consultants. Any subject, any medium. All works entered are hung. This buy off-the-wall small works exhibition encourages visitors to purchase Christmas gifts and support a local living artist with 100% of every sale going straight to the creator.

The sponsor, Simon Anderson Consultants is a local Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy based in Bairnsdale, founded in 1992 by Simon on his kitchen table. In 2020, Simon and Carina Anderson are thrilled to be sponsoring the EGAG WRAP prize.

‘Art is such an important part of life, to be creative is such an incredible gift to have and to share. It is through creativity that a community can come alive and we are so excited to be a part of this process.

Last year East Gippsland Art Gallery received 182 entries from around 100 artists from all over Australia.
