“My work is centred around graphite pencil drawings of portraits and people in their most symbolic environment. Through black and white imagery, my art brings a nostalgic tone, reminiscent of old photographs and collective memories. As viewers examine the details and expressions of a portrait, they are invited to discover unique traits and hidden stories, fostering a deeper understanding and empathy.

 

Ultimately, portraits serve at connecting everyone through a sense of familiarity, emotion and self-reflection.

 

On the flip side of my creative mind is the more playful, less structured side—my fun side. It’s the part that helps me find the good in everything and reminds me not to take life too seriously. I love drawing quirky interpretations of everyday objects as they keep me in a positive and healthy mindset. And most importantly, they bring smiles to others.”
