Fine Art Fine Presents 2016

Come and celebrate Christmas with us at the opening of our biggest group show of the year with special guest speaker Tim Dakin, Creative Arts Facilitator at Regional Arts Victoria and musical entertainment by Luna Loca. This eagerly anticipated exhibition features the work of over 30 East Gippsland artists and highlights some of the diverse talents found in East Gippsland. It also offers a fabulous opportunity to purchase “off the wall” unique items for those very special Christmas gifts. Fine Art for Fine Presents includes sculpture, ceramics, photography, painting, furniture, textiles, prints, jewellery and artist books. The Gallery Shop also re-stocks at this time of year with a range of fine art and craft items sure to please all tastes and budgets. By buying unique locally made gifts you are supporting local artists.

Here are four good reasons to buy from local artists this Christmas:
The East Gippsland artist marketplace is loaded with unique and creative items, perfect to enhance your life with beauty and to give exceptional gifts.

Artists are people who live in the community and are invested in the community’s future. When you buy from local artists more of your money stays in the community, continuing to support the economic base of the community.
The unique character of our community is defined by our activities. The art in this area is vital and can only exist with continued local support.
Arts travellers are ideal tourists, staying longer and spending more to seek out authentic cultural experiences.
