Jenny Toye | Froute Loops, Contours and Onomatopoeia
09 May - 14 June 2025
Special Opening event 5.30pm Friday 09 May. All welcome. FREE
"My usual practice is sculpture, working with metal, clay, stone, and salvaged objects reclaimed from land-fill.
Froute Loops marks a departure from my usual approach. I began working with porcelain about a year ago, I love the process, the unpredictability and it's tactile nature. I start with a few drawings, but then the pieces seem to form themselves - wild arms and spouts turn them into strange objects. The whole process is meditative and fun at the same time.”
