Step into the world of Runway Stories — a vibrant fashion parade celebrating the creativity of designers and makers redefining style through sustainability. Discover striking one-of-a-kind garments, expertly crafted from beautiful fabrics and brought to life on the runway through bold design and craftsmanship.

Every garment is made from sustainable or repurposed fabrics, with no new polyester used in production. Strong silhouettes, beautiful fabrics, considered detail. This is wearable art.

Adding a touch of Australian fashion royalty to the occasion is the appearance of Prue Acton OBE, one of Australia's most iconic designers. Often described as the "golden girl of fashion" in the 1960s, Acton was the first Australian designer to successfully enter the American market and received numerous national and international awards throughout her career. Born in Benalla, Victoria, her presence at this event is especially meaningful.

After the parade, continue the experience in the theatre foyer, where featured garments will be available for purchase — offering you the chance to take home a truly unique piece of wearable art.
