East Gippsland Art Gallery and Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Aboriginal Corporation are proud to once again to present South East NOW 2026, a vibrant celebration of Aboriginal art, culture and community.

Now in its eighth year, South East NOW continues to showcase the strength, diversity and creativity of Aboriginal artists from across the region. We are honoured to work alongside artists whose powerful and culturally significant practices enrich our understanding of Country, community and culture, while inspiring local audiences and visitors alike.

Featuring the work of seventeen outstanding artists across two venues, South East NOW 2026 offers a unique opportunity to experience contemporary Aboriginal art and connect with the stories, perspectives and creative voices of this region.

We warmly invite the community to join us in celebrating this special exhibition.
